Something made me think of them the other day and I figured I should post about them, as I don't see any mention of them before on here.
Then, several months later, it was announced that they, this Camille and Kennerly duo (aka the Harp Twins), would be appearing at my local gaming expo (!), so I made sure to see that show, despite my dad, at the time, was having an affair with this criminal who was taking his money for her so-called business and it wasn't a very good idea to leave the house for very long with her coming over (as I'd had to move back in with him and mom) when mom was out of town (long story short, hopefully she's either still in jail [thanks to me by giving the police a lot of info] or maybe she caught and died of COVID while in there). This was also THE best gathering the expo had ever seen...except they only had one meeting room for panelists and concerts (not including the main stage that was used for concerts, although this would later be changed for all musical guests to share, rather than putting some of them in the meeting rooms). So some panelist that had THE only meeting room before the Twins went over his allotted time for too long as those of us standing in line for the show had to wait for like 30 minutes.
Finally, I went in there "cold" without hearing any of their music beforehand, and it was pretty much worth the wait (you can see a shot I took here, although it's not that great).
For one thing, these aren't good, yet pathetic musicians who just do covers, they both have black belts in the martial arts, for one thing. They also had to learn how to play everything themselves, as one of them said "we went to all music stores possible and there weren't any music books on Metallica for the harp. I'm serious!" They also, at times, had to learn how to play the harp backwards. Right, on the "Two girls, one harp" cover of Metallica's "One", *normally* there's only one way to play the harp. With them sharing the one harp (to continue with the "one" theme of the song), they had to learn to play it backwards. And on top of all that, they do all kinds of fantasy and even sci-fi stuff, such as covering themes from The Lord of the Rings, Star Trek, Game of Thrones and The Walking Dead. They're also good singers too, although you wouldn't guess that by watching their cover of The Big Bang Theory theme and they sang the famous "Soft Kitty" song at the end of that video, as one of them botched a note pretty bad (look ladies, you don't have to do EVERYTHING live, ok? [Most of the time they do.]). And yes, they've actually done several original pieces after all (they have their own cd's worth of them)...and came out with their own comic book too. They also market their stuff smartly, getting permission from artists before covering pieces, plus they have stuff that you can only see a video of, stuff only available on their cds/downloads, etc.
So, they don't just look good (along with their mom), are built nicely and wear neat costumes too, they actually have earned respect.
They're also really funny too, but let's just get to the music.

I'm probably not the only one who saw a few years ago, as suggested on YouTube, was a video cover of Metallica's "One" tune...by two girls playing the harp. I didn't think much of it and never watched it (although I meant to) as I don't think much of musicians in general who just do covers (do some original stuff and let's see how that sounds/goes, eh?).
