Are there any project that sounds like those golden axe songs from Sega Master System? This is problably one of the best games soundtracks ever made (at least when talking about master system ones).

This recent article has some great recommendations for the style: www.invisibleoranges.com/naive-magic-pixelated-dungeons/Also, Iβd be remiss not to mention that Seregost played a Golden Axe cover at the first Southeast Dungeon Scourge (23:10 if the link doesnβt keep the timecode): Mandatory viewing, he tears it up.

This sound is certainly doable though the Deflemask program.

This might be a bit of shameless self promotion but in the coming weeks the first album of my new Dungeon Chiptune project Necromancer Tower will be released by Gentle Impaler Recordings ( gentleimpaler.bandcamp.com ). The music is composed for the NES (using the MMC5 chip, that adds two more channels). Unfortunately I can't share the music yet but I think this could eventually fit your taste. Maybe you wanna keep an eye open. ;-) P.S.: The Golden Axe games are great! Some of my favourite Beat-em-ups.

Will check those recommendations.
Just to remember the recommendations dont need to be dungeon chip, it can be other forms of dungeon synth.
Some example of non-chiptune or dungeon synth that reminds me of golden axe sms soundtrack.
