What are the some of the more aggressive tracks/albums of this genre? I know it usually focuses on more ambient and depressive atmospheres as a foundational principle, but with the amount of experimentation goin on, I'm surprised I haven't run into anything that hits harder than some of the tracks put out by Black Tiger and Kobold (ie Vishniks Breath from Black Tigers Xanathul Shadow, or The Ice Dragon from Kobolds Cave of the Lost Talisman). I'm mostly asking for reference material for a subgenre I want to try to create, but also to have more dungeon synth tracks in my work out mix. |

i feel like "aggressive dungeon synth" would be keller synth? idk, i'd need to look into it, but it seems like its the point in between black metal and dungeon synth
i dont know, ive heard that term thrown around a couple tmes

i feel like "aggressive dungeon synth" would be keller synth? idk, i'd need to look into it, but it seems like its the point in between black metal and dungeon synth i dont know, ive heard that term thrown around a couple tmes |

I like that one of his tags is "literal garbage". I think I know where this gonna go... ...okay after taking a peek at a few tracks, it turns out I didn't know where it was goin at all. It's good, but not what I'm looking for. Ideally, it would be something that hits like boss music. Or like this. |

Yeah, the Fenwalker album I recommended is the closest thing I know of in this genre to anything by Carpenter Brut:) |

I do like this, but there's a sort of playfulness to this that misses the mark I'm going for. Still, this is a nice find, thank you. |

Sounds a bit more nightmarish than aggressive. There's a very dream like quality to this. I do like dreamy aesthetics a lot, but we're not quite there yet. Mind you all, even if we don't find the sound I'm describing, every project shared helps sharpen the definition on the things it's not. I'll give this full discography a once through later. |
