The other day I finished my project, which, it seems to me, resembles a dungeon synth. To some extent, the album is inspired by the macedonian writer Slavko Janevski. You won’t find Ugrino on any map. This is the name of the place separated from all other lands by an imaginary border. On this way there are sleeping and incredibly elderly Gods of the fields, adjacent to little mice in small clothes. And in the distance the dawn shines and Pan is playing his flute. ugrino.bandcamp.com/album/miracle

The cover art reminds me of the tarot card Wheel of Fortune, looks great and eye-catching to me. I'm on my second listen now and I think there is something special about this album. It feels very organic, like it was maybe improvised a bit, the melodies just seems to so naturally fit in this space almost like they're evolving of their own accord into forming a landscape. It is very shimmery, echoey, crystalline, makes me think of starlight, floating in a glittering liquid firmament. The moods feel very unique, like a lot of the time when I listen to dungeon synth I get a bit frustrated because I feel like I've heard it all before, but this sounds new to me. It's wistful, a bit sad but still with a faith in magic, which I guess isn't necessarily a unique mood to dungeon synth, but I suppose just the way the melodies arrive there feels different to me. I am curious what synths were used here. The textures sound very rich, with sprawling reverb and some wilder effects on some voices, always trailing movement surrounding the notes, like tails of comets. Wonderful!

Thank you for your kind words! I'm very pleased. Only the Digitone synthesizer was used here. What can you say about the last track?

Спасибо! Thank you for your kind words! I'm very pleased. Only the Digitone synthesizer was used here. What can you say about the last track? That Digitone synthesizer looks cool, just a tiny black box. It certainly sounds nice here. About the last track, actually I found it to be pretty jarring, and not the kind of thing I enjoy listening to in and of itself, but I think it makes sense in the context of the album because the rest of it is so hypnotic and contemplative, like the final track is a wake-up call, time to get to work. And it leaves the listener with a surprising contrast in their minds to ponder, making it more complex and memorable.
