Hello all, I have started a YouTube channel where I dive into the world of Dungeon Synth and Fantasy. Still working out the kinks but I have a few episodes up now if you'd like to check it out and like and subscribe. Album reviews and deep dives, interviews, literature and more on the way. Thanks www.youtube.com/channel/UCGYWQJPkDn9kL_5Lm-3L-wg

I'm just checking out your channel right now. Interesting suff. I'm looking for a Youtube channel or Podcast, where DS releases are discussed in deep, for a while now and your content kinda scratches this itch. I will keep an eye open for future uploads.

I listened to your album commentaries for Old Tower and Forgotten Pathways and thought they were great! Your enthusiasm for this music is contagious and you seem to have a broad knowledge of music in general, and I like how you describe the places and stories that the music causes you to imagine. Also you made me laugh a few times, like in the Forgotten Pathways commentary at about 3:45: "Listen to those snare rolls, they're so perfectly terrible." Haha yes! Such a good example of an album for showing how the supposed deficiences and mistakes are part of what makes the magic work. I'm looking forward to the next one, and also you mentioned maybe doing interviews, I'm excited to hear those.
Also, it's interesting that you mention the synth bits on Anthems to the Welkin at Dusk for when DS first caught your attention. I like that album well enough but I've never really even taken note of those parts. I'm curious about your thoughts on Thou Shalt Suffer – Somnium, which is a full album of Ihsahn's neoclassical synth experimentations. I've never really liked it much personally. It is very perplexing to me, but also fascinating.
