DS Compilation UPDATE ( FB Group Merging)

Greetings guys and girls and everyone else. 

I have been in discussion with the admin over at the FB group who is also running the compilation. While I believe we were going to run it as two separate compilations, problems arose when artists were either signing for both or confused that there was two. Since our community is still sort of small, I feel having more resources and artists participating. Things would not change as people can still make music based around the theme chosen. If for some reason there is a large enough participation based on that theme (like 10-12) and we have enough unique tracks for two compilations, we can split the comp into two sides or even start a bandcamp page with the two comps already on it. I would hesitate to have two compilations with the same track from the same artist appearing on both. 

Questions, concerns, and complaints can be addressed. Here.

I participated in both since I like to do this kind of stuff, thanks for clearing it up anyways though

Yep ! there is nothing wrong with being excited and even trying to get on as many comps as possible. This is less a final decision and more just coordination with seeing how much stuff we get. You guys wouldn't believe how much time I have spent thinking about how to coordinate this and make it cool.

I liked the idea of the forum having its own unique compilation, and maybe a bit of friendly competition with the Facebook compilation, but the merger makes sense.

I will just go with the flow although I must say it felt a lot more 'personal' and seemed to have more direction dunno why)in here to me - the Facebook page just seems more like Facebook I suppose (which really shits me for some reason)

sounds like an interesting idea.
is it setup that anyone that submits something is included automatically or do you have voting process setup to determine the 'top 10, 20, 30' or whatever tracks only?
