Dear fellow game enthusiasts, I am looking for card games you would recommend. My priorities are: - preferably a game for 2 players
- the game should be complete in itself (unlike "Magic: The Gathering" or other games where you have to collect cards)
- a Fantasy setting (in the broadest sense) would be great
All in all, I would love to play something similar to Wizard that is suitable for less than three players. I'm looking forward to your tips!

All in all, I would love to play something similar to Wizard that is suitable for less than three players. I'm looking forward to your tips! My partner is a marine scientist, we picked up a game called Ecologies where you basically fill ecosystems with animals and get bonuses for a complete and stable ecosystem. Games are quick and it even has a single player ruleset. Not quite fantasy, but the artwork is nice. It’s a nice casual game. I’ve wanted to develop a card game that involves combining cards to “cast spells” and strategically beat your opponent, but game design is hard so it’s a vague fantasy right now
