Hi!
I'm searching for the debut album by Arath on CD, and since it's sold out on the Deivlforst Records page, it seems impossible to find anywhere. Do you know where I could still buy it? Same thing for the Thangorodrim album Taur Nu Fuin, I'd really like to have it. Maybe they will be reissued someday?
Thanks!

Create ebay notifications, add them to your Discogs wantlist and wait patiently?

Deivlforst has already announced plans to reissue the Thangorodrim album on vinyl sometime this coming year, definitely looking forward to that. Yeah the Discogs hunt might be slow going, it seems most folks who have copies of the early DF catalog aren't trying to get rid of them anytime soon.

Yes, I've added everything I want to my Discogs wantlist, I wonder if it will work eventually. After searching everywhere on the net this week, I realised that these albums are REALLY rare. Dungeon synth is a real obscure genre... Oh well. I'll start to buy more stuff as soon as it comes out, now.
I'll get the Thangodorim on vinyl for sure! Taur nu fuin is perhaps the very best DS album I heard after Mortiis.

Wulfrune is overlooked because he doesnt have a webstore and only does email, but he still has some 'rare' tapes in stock, ie early Foglord tapes, Elador, Skarpseian (tape which I released) etc.

He used to have a guy in the US you could buy from but he doesn't do it anymore, too bad. He has a lot of stuff, some tapes are better quality than others he puts out. Some people don't consider his tapes 'official' though since he picks up a lot of artists from bandcamp soon after digital releases and only sends them some of the jcards which are of somewhat questionable quality. I have quite a few of the older releases, Taur Nu Fuin tapes, Skarpseian, Swords of Numenor, etc. They're not that bad. It's worth grazing his distro list, some stuff is pretty rare.

I have to say that regardless of the quality, if the artist is contacted and agrees to that kind of deal then that is certainly an officially released tape. The artist could just tell him no thanks or fuck off if they're not interested in that kind of arrangement...

The way he does business though is not too shabby and quite good for the artists when you think about it. He's released two of my releases on tape, and with his method of "buy tapes from here and sent it to me" is a good way of circulating music around. I've had many people, surprisingly, contact me telling me they found out about my music because of him. When he offered to do releases and when I found out how he operates, I assumed my tapes wouldn't move and sit dormant for an eternity haha
