Well that makes a whole lot of sense! That's awesome to hear, thanks for the update. Comfy is the perfect way to describe it.

I have seven wonders of the ancient world on. I listened to Journeys Adrift earlier. I think I prefer the latter but I love them both. Journeys Adrift is really underrated but I think it's much better than Seven Wonders. Seven Wonders wasn't all that interesting to me. Journeys had more variation and some weird sounds which appeals to me more. andrewwerdna, I thought I read or heard someone mention you didn't like Journeys that much? I'm still happy with Journeys Adrift. Seven Wonders certainly has its flaws, but I think of it as my best album just because it was the only one that was really complete at the time of release. All the other albums (including Ykcowrebbaj) are collections of half-finished tracks from a variety of unrealized album concepts.

Well I can see what you're saying about being half-finished, to some extent, but I think we're always our own harshest critics!

Cloak & Daggere - Dìth Chealtair which I came across thanks to the "Advice on Dungeon Synth" thread here, took a quick listen on Bandcamp and purchased & downloaded immediately! Must be among the best "new" DS things I've heard (which I admit isn't really much), it just sounded so "right". I love this album is this one of your other projects thekeeper? Reminds me of Caoranach for some reason?

Reminds me of Caoranach for some reason? It is. Interesting you drew the Caoranach comparison. I see them as very different projects, but I can see maybe the more minimal DOS feel of the second Caoranach release being a bit apparent in C&D. I'm glad people are enjoying it.

Cloak & Daggere - Dith Chealtair is really nice! Enjoying the primitive lo-fi qualities. Now playing:

New Moonless Nights EPExcellent neoclassical with synth VSTs. Really only DS in spirit, especially with the cheesy voice pads at the end. Really love this project. Everyone's under the impression it's the Moaning Shadows guy. Safe bet, maybe 90% chance.

I'm all for having multiple DS projects but damn, if that's the same person he surely has more creativity than to use practically an identical visual aesthetic for both projects...I'm sure that's just my untrained eye though. I'll need to listen to both projects more since I keep hearing them mentioned!

Believe it or not, Moaning Shadows was my first Dungeon Synth listen. Of course, that project doesn't have the true DS sound, but it was the gateway for me. I was obviously mesmerized, it was video gamey, dirty and had the cheesiest of synths, so it was love at first sight. Moonless Nights also sounds very good.

I'm checking out that From the darkest Heritage ep now and it certainly is very good!
