Sold out like most HDK stuff too fast, label needs to increase its run size I'm sure they will repress it. They repressed my previous album 2-3 times, too. Said this, I agree about increasing editions. Maybe 50 copies per title would fit. Pressing tapes is now really expensive, much more than 12 months ago (!!!), so I understand their politics: pressing too many copies would be a concrete risk. That's the reason why I won't release my self-produced stuff on tape anymore, just CDs. I can't ask 10β¬/tape for my stuff, I'm not Iron Maiden. Instead, I can release CDs for 4/5β¬ euros each, which I think is a very good and honest price. Fuck the hype, fuck trends. Hail honesty.

Listening to this for the first time since 2000, maybe ? Still very enjoyable.

The new Mausolei 'Dungeon in the Tundra'. Definitely my favorite release so far. It reminds me a bit of the surreal Escher-esque fantasy of Elric of Melnibone. I just bought the dope long sleeve that came with the release. The slime green combo with the artwork is out of this world.

This EP solidified my opinion that BG is one the best contemporary DS artists. Otherworldly, melancholic, contemplative, and innovative.

Contours... didn't grab me so much but this one is fantastic. I'm also intrigued as to how they work as a duo (same with Dryads and Elves & Dwarves).

I had downloaded this one gastropoda.bandcamp.com/releases , lying in my incoming folder and it was its time to listen to... Since I didn't first look at the BC page again, I was caught by a big surprise when I heard David legendary Attenborough ! Before I was checking it was him in the BC page his voice was over already and the music had started to flow and , against what you've been expecting its a 30 minute completely serious sounding drone classic DS thing.. I've seen more releases in the past with artwork and style like this, probably from the same artist/s but I'm not sure if I have already listened to them, but this album really is something unique and sounds as serious as it can get musicwise.. I very much recommend it to everyone, since maybe some overlook it... Good job/work to anyone who's responsible..

I am really enjoying this. Certainly one of the more innovative artists I've heard in the genre. Looks like the tape version isn't out yet, will pick it up when it is.

Looks like the tape version isn't out yet, will pick it up when it is. wow. this really crosses over with a lot of the other deep/contemplative ambient stuff I'm into. it's both a license and a demonstration of how to mix these styles. I no longer feel so much out of place or between worlds musically after something like this.
