Thanx, so it's Arboglith – Promo Tape 2019 .. From what I gather only on tape, which is mostly sold out, excellent looking artwork btw, no digital release besides a bandcamp page I remember seeing but not finding atm with only one track available to listen/buy, on 100 tapes. Sounds great if someone is willing to put money on a gamble if he actually likes the music, besides having to actually transfer it from tape to digital to listen anywhere and preserve it .. Nah I won't , but thanx for bringing it up.. Np A Humble Journey by Midlund midlund.bandcamp.com/releases : I saw the great cover art and immediately caught in the credits (of the artwork) Quest Master which made me put this one in top priority.. So here we have 2 songs, the first an excellent piano piece that I think people will appreciate a lot, melancholic and atmospheric.. The second one is different, no piano here but a more traditional DS song with some ambient vibes, it actually grew into me a lot after repeated listens of the demo .. All in all I liked it and hopefully the artist releases a full album/ep soon! - There is definitely some great DS scene in Australia as it seems!! Nice stuff..

"Forgotten Pathways - Shrouded in Mystery" I'm really enjoying this release lately. and Paths of the Eternal - Search of True Ascendance both excellent choices fighters, excellent choices... Np Tir - The Vanished Civilization of Xattoth : heimatderkatastrophe.bandcamp.com/album/hdk-45-the-vanished-civilization-of-xattothExcellency here too, Tir's album through HDK is imho his more complete work, grand and a journey start to finish of ancient imagery.. It transmits its story, which is certainly not common, such strong record..

I am loving the shit out of this reissue that just got uploaded to the archives: www.youtube.com/watch?v=l7OygKj9NrwNever heard of it before but it's just my kind of stuff. Nostalgic, dated synth tones with a really crystal-clear facelift in production value. Well-performed with enough layering and development to keep me interested. My kind of jam.

Hi, I’m new to the forum so thought I would introduce myself while posting what I’ve been listening to today. I have only been listening to DS for around 3 months now and I can’t believe I never found it sooner. I love fantasy stuff and RPG’s etc and have been playing around with synthesizers for around 8 years so the fact I never came across this genre surprises me. I have my own set up in the corner of my dining room so have started to make my own DS album to put onto Bandcamp. I’ve made a good start on 3 tracks now and am really enjoying the process. I look forward to sharing my work and seeing what you all think. Anyway... today while on my deliveries at work I had this on multiple times. I especially love 8:32 Ellendrials Lullaby and 15:16 Farewell (new lands await) youtu.be/duJBjG0UafM

Solanum is pure classic mate(side project of one of Depressive Silence), it's a great thing that it got a reissue lately since only a Hollow Myths rare CD release was only choice, since lots of the tape rips circulating around for years were sped up See here : dungeonsynth.proboards.com/post/13117/thread .. All praise is worth it for this album!! Hi, I’m new to the forum so thought I would introduce myself while posting what I’ve been listening to today. I have bought I and V by Fief on Bandcamp and love them both. Will be buying the rest soon enough. I also bought Sins Of Yore by Windtower, thought that was an amazing album, the track A Whimsical Druids Tale absolutely blew me away.

@jorvik : Ah I have bookmarked but not yet gone through Windtower's album, great to hear since I enjoyed the previous work "The Eldest One", so I will push his latest upwards on the to listen list... Now playing Murgrind - The Fallen Kingdom : murgrind-music.bandcamp.com/album/the-fallen-kingdom : As expected, a high quality release in the standard Murgrind imagery of bleak epic scenery.. Sometimes dark sometimes majestic this is an honest solid release that I think Murgrind put everything into.. All of his works are great but I feel this is as strong as ever if not even more... Only small minus a black metal kinda scream/shriek/whatever somewhere along the way in a moment of a song that seemed completely out of place transporting you back into reality :/ :/ But a great release really, strongly recommended..

Welcome arillius, good to have you here Great project throughout , your Khand project was indeed very much liked here : dungeonsynth.proboards.com/post/13395/thread !! Np some chiptune DS(one of my most preferred styles) Pale Mage - The Poisoned Goblin Spell Bottle Songs : palemage.bandcamp.com/album/the-poisoned-goblin-spell-bottle-songs : While it didn't really feel solid throughout, it has some definite moments there , I'd really want to listen immediately to a second release by the artist in the same chiptune vein which always can enhance greatly RPG scenarios.. The tracks I pick from this one are "Castle of the Poisoned Goblin", "An Unexpected Clash in Darkness","Face Skeletal Low Armored Warriors" and "Contemplating the Falling Stars..."..

Seems like this one is somewhat forgotten. One of the few rare obscurities I found before the revival. Kind of weird, not the best, but I still keep finding myself coming back to it for some reason.
