This is some minimalistic Winter Synth. It is executed really well and manages to evoke a enchanting atmosphere. I generally love minimal music if it is executed well. I know how hard this can be.
Thanks to voicesoftheainur for sharing this little gem on your last episode. I'm happy I haven't skipped it because of the many Confy Synth that was featured.

Good taste with Fogweaver, he's good! I don't have anything of his yet but I'm going to start with his split with Erreth-Akbe when I do though. *Mortiis's Fodt til å Herske *Haudh's Der Erlkonig*Northeast Dungeon Siege 2021A bit different on that last one! Before the online Dungeon Siege show started the other week, you could buy a "Chance" (or as many as you like) for $1 each for a raffle when they gave away prizes. At first I thought they screwed up by saying the usual thing of "streaming via the free Bandcamp app, plus high-quality download in MP3, FLAC and more" blah blah, that they copied and pasted by accident, but then I was like "wait, there IS a track?". Yep, that was included with purchase. A bit odd but a nice piece, although more dark ambient than dungeon synth, in my opinion.

Most certainly agree with that, Fogweaver has so much replay-ability. Some records you could have for plays in a row without getting very tired of them. Oh and welcome to the forum Daytold!

Thank you! Good to hear that about Fw too, I have just only listened to that one album so far.

Thank you! Good to hear that about Fw too, I have just only listened to that one album so far. Check out Fief as well, like every album starting from the first one to his fifth. I get utterly lost in Fief.
I know many around here have heard his stuff to death but he's another artist I can't get enough of so I never get tired of replaying all his albums in a row because I can't let myself get away with listening to only one record. But then again I really like it more on the medieval side so maybe I'm biased. I'm going to start a new thing with taking DS on walks with me in my headphones.

Haven't come across this before but I sure am glad that I did! It's really taken me somewhere else so I will definitely be checking out more of Darken Wood.
This has some emphasis on Dark Ambient as well as Dungeon Synth. But mixed & blended to perfection in my opinion.

^Yeah, dark ambient and dungeon synth can go together well and some artists cross over.
