well. you're obviously my nemesis in this game but I need to say that I really like your sound. Make a bandcamp-album and then get released on tape by some label.

I've made also something rather strange, it's 1-bit music for the beeper of the zx spectrum old computer, I've released an album on bandcamp: garvalf.bandcamp.com/releasesThanx for all links, I'm already checking out the above! Bit noisy to be honest, was spectrum beeper's that noisy ? Good stuff though, respect for your description also : "Louder than Death Metal, rawer than Black Metal, darker than Chiptune, here is the "One Myth" album, composed entirely for Sinclair ZX Spectrum beeper. " Besides an A2600 ripoff, my first PC was an 286 with CGA, no HDD and for music the PC Speaker.. Still remember many games fondly and prefer the PC Speaker than midi (Example : Monkey Island 1 or the entry theme of Arkanoid, the theme is damn more classy and funny on a pc speaker).. Then again it could be nostalgia.. Again, good work, listening to it still 2nd track (Infravisions) and it delivers.. Cheers

Hello, Thank you for your comments! A tape? Really I hadn't thought to this, but why not. I'm used to all digital stuff now, but if there is a demand, why not? About 1-bit music, yeah, I know this version of Monkey Island. The music is so great that it still sounds good with the PC beeper, but this is not very advanced beeper technique (I like it though but I prefer the adlib version). At the same time it was possible to get this kind of music on zx spectrum: www.youtube.com/watch?v=T42WuUpBuHE (Tim Follin Agent X) Now we can have this kind of music with beeper: www.youtube.com/watch?v=jJ9eIvksTKg (Irrlicht Project: Endgame). Btw the guy behind this project is making different kind of musics and it's generally original and good, you can check his drone music for example: www.irrlichtproject.de/music.php

The one bit record is crazy man, this is pretty much dungeon noise.

Some more chiptune music recorded a few months ago (kind of medieval music on a C64 8 bit computer):

Good stuff. Sounds a lot like old Ultima songs.

Thanks, yes, I was totally thinking to Ultima while I worked on this. I didn't try to mimic it, but I wanted to get a similar feeling of "old-fashioness" and distance. I've just recorded a new track on my Megadrive, I've converted one tune from my forthcoming album. There are less tracks on this one (and less possibilities for chords), but I like it nevertheless: soundcloud.com/garvalf/the-shortest-day
