Ok, me first, I've got one: I can't figure out how people leave those "supported by" mini-reviews that appear under album art, e.g. the Captain Karbon write-up here. It's starting to make me feel like a moron. How do you write these?

They won't let you do it if you download an album for free. Once you purchase it, it will be in your collection. On your collection page, you can write a little review on the album.

Here's a Bandcamp question... Do you know of any DS artists that offer a "subscription" model? (details here: bandcamp.com/subscriptions) I'd be all over this for some of my favourite artists, or even labels... For those who collect tapes it would be a way of ensuring you get the latest HDK or whatever...

I think subscribers automatically get digital releases only, but you can target physical releases only to subscribers eg. keep them away from the "general public". Might be an interesting way to offer unique rehearsal/demo stub/outtake/experimental physical releases to dedicated fans!

Does anyone know if there's a way to divide your music/merch page into categories?
On the discography page (yourband.bandcamp.com/music), for example, can you have separate "clusters" of albums that are related by theme, or even different artist name?

regarding bonus items and tracks: if I upload -for instance- a bonus track to one of my previously released albums (think of Ruins, Escape etc), will users have to buy it again to get the bonus stuff as well, or will they have it authomatically added for listening/download?

Nope! Supporters will have to download the album again, but not pay again. You can add tracks, change the artwork etc. Pendragon added the last (cassette only) track to "Uther" recently pendragonking.bandcamp.com/album/utherPS - bonus tracks - yay!

Linked accounts in Bandcamp (see pic)
Hello! Anyone ever used this? (I guess if you have a side project???) Question - does this merge your stats pages, order pages etc? Presumably the 200 giveaway codes still apply to each artist? Cheers.

It still keeps stats, orders, etc separate and people can't tell that accounts are linked. The only difference is that you can select which page of yours to look at and manage from a drop-down menu without having to log out and into another artist account. Very convenient.

Excellent, thanks! When I do my secret side project I shall use this!

Is there a way to make the same cassette tape "merch item" appear on the bandcamp for more than one album? I've got this tape out now that has different releases on the A & B sides of a single tape, which I'd like to show up as purchasable from both of the album pages.
