From the artistic mind behind Trollkjerring and Goatswarth comes a fantasy dungeon synth treasure steeped in nostalgia and magic.
Inspired by Ida Rentoul Outhwaite's classic "Fairyland" collection of poetry and prose, Acheulean Forests perfectly captures both the otherworldly mythos and puckish whimsy of Celtic faerie tradition.

Forest samples and MIDI neoclassical arrangements transport the listener to an idyllic and dreamlike inner world of fay reveries, accented by a childlike sense of wonder.

Recommended for listeners of Mortiis, Wongraven, Erang, Abandoned Places, etc.

I really like this project. Honest and individual, working with lighter melodies and themes that some avoid (I'm all for fairy-synth). Pre-ordered the tape.

Like you, I was also really attracted to the obvious sincerity of this project, especially after seeing Trolljkerring (his neofolk band) do an extraordinarily passionate live performance. His choices of tones are very traditional DS casio sounds but the compositions are uniquely light and fantastical, which I found really interesting as well.
