The Empty Marches I haven't exactly found these places. I walked there when I was young, and they exist tied to mundane memories so I can't really explain what they emanate from. Occasionally, a people or race disintegrates. It is not a common tragedy, not really, so there is a powerful feeling of romanticism associated with their remains.

Really great debut. The artwork is gorgeous and I love the 16 bit sounds.

Since usually there is a ratio of midi and soundfonts to one or two synthesizer instruments. I have been using an analog synth to mess with a more traditional DS sound. Might post some of that to youtube tonight. Bless

New album dropped yesterday
This album is loosely based on lore and history, philosophy and cosmology.
Recorded over the space of a year with a multitude of synths, organs, field recordings. It is a true culmination of love for Depressive Silence, 90s synthesizers, and vintage instruments.

Just having a listen to this now and it sounds great. Can you tell me any of the synths you used at all?

I had another listen on the way to work this morning after reading the list to see if I could recognise any as I used to own a JV1080 and I use M1 vst currently. I really enjoyed it again, Spiders Cave is my favourite I think. Really nice combination of sounds all the way through but specially in that track for me.

I really appreciate the compliment but I'm wondering if it was mine you were listening to? I don't have a song called Spider's Cave lol

Sorry I’ve just realised I put the track name from something else I had on while I was writing the comment, the track I meant was Sacrifice to Mars. Beautiful sounds

Also forgot that I used the Ensoniq Mirage for the "soundtrack" sound in one of those tracks. It died shortly after.
