After some distance, i decided to take this cheap keyboard i had at home and record some stuff. Inspired by the lores of my homecountry and my ancients. Low-Fi, Old School, Ostarrichi Synth. Hope you will like it... BURGEN - DEMONSTRATIO

emotional and inspiring, as always. You're an artist with great sensitivity, without any doubt.

Gave this a listen yesterday while adding it to my 2018 DS catalog on Rate Your Music. I enjoyed it! Very cool sounds and good work!

A short track recorded while i thought about my childhood.
Nothing special, just something i don't want to keep for myself...

I'm still asking myself how you can do it! this is the most emotional, romantic, sorrowed synth music heard within the "new school" of DS. The track you posted reminds clearly of your first AOSG album, with that looping arpeggio and the melodic theme almost hidden in the background.....this fits my taste perfectly. Long live Burgen!

Thx brother! As i told you, i just sat down in front of my gear, be depressed as fuck and play what i feel. Sometimes it works, sometimes not.

BURGEN - VanitasAn experiment recorded before the Demonstratio Demo. I tried to run this shitty Renkforce - JK 805 through a rusty Roland Cube 30X and this is the result, paired with vocal work. Inspired by my own personal belief and also performed in a way i want to continue in the future...

I've just found about Burgen through the split that has been released today. Now that I've listened to the rest of the discography I can confirm that this is one of the best DS projects I've found lately. The Waise track takes the nostalgia I felt with the Alpestre split to another level, while the Vanitas demo takes a darker path. What the four albums that I've listened have in common is the sensibility in choosing the right notes and the right sounds/production at any moment. You know how to express emotions through music. By the way, I didn't realise that you were also behind An Old Sad Ghost until now. Amazing project, too.

This is the reason why i am making music, to express emotions which can't be told by words. Also i always try to change a little bit the style by each release to challenge myself and to express different aspects. I started to making Synth based music with AOSG, then with A letter for Carmilla and after this i finally arrived at Burgen...

RATTENKOENIGIN is a short piece of an failed album idea. At first i uploaded it as a bonus to the Videna demo, but then i decided to give this failed idea an own place in the discography so people can get it separate. Download should work, i just don't want that people pay money for this.
