Hi everyone, New to the forum and posting here some demo tracks from a yet unfinished VGM and tabletop RPG inspired DS album. This is my first foray into dungeon synth after having played in black metal and punk bands for years ( alraune.bandcamp.com/ for the last band I was in), also having a background in jazz and classical music. I would really appreciate any thoughts or feedback on what I've finished thus far. I look forward to being a part of the conversation and hearing back from everyone. - All the best summerlesskeep.bandcamp.com

Yup it's good, be keen for cassettes at some point ! Thank you! Currently eyeing the depths of the proboards for suggestions on tape pressing - any and all guidance is appreciated. -All the best The cheapest way is to do the cassette run by yourself. Buy cassettes, cases, print covers, etc. The last time I did this, I made 100 cassettes and it ended up costing me about $2.00 per cassette (generic 30min blank cassette, cheapest clear case, xeroxed covers). This was in 2008. I purchased the items from eBay. A popular choice among people I've known (in Canada and USA) is www.duplication.ca, but be warned that things can get quite expensive on a per-cassette basis when you're having a low numbered run of tapes made, making the venture a potential avenue for losing your money. If you don't plan on selling more than 100 cassettes, it's probably not worth getting them pressed professionally, unless you don't mind taking a small hit to the wallet. Now, about the music. I had a chance to listen to some of your music yesterday. Did you use a SID chip (c64)?

What I have been using are VSTs that more or less claim to be modeled after the SID chip - still looking for some of the older VSTs that seem to be lurking on forgotten corners of the web.

To herald the coming of a new album, I present the single "Liber Vomica." Although this track will not be featured on the new album, it does provide a glimpse into stylistic changes and atmosphere. Less 8-bit more dungeon-y. Lemme know what y'all think & I hope you like it! Liber Vomica
