Hey guys, just some updates...
Argonath & Sreng
I have retired the Argonath project in place of a new name. Sreng, being an Irish warrior figure in mythology, is what I am now going by. While I am proud of what I had created, I did feel at times I got carried away, putting out too much releases.
After obtaining new gear and inspiration, I will continue my celtic themed dungeon synth in tribute to Irish mythology and legend but in tradition to a mix of old school dungeon synth and other artists such as Clannad.
I plan to use this board more often as I've been lurking for some time and there seems to be good discussion on here, the facebook group is nice but there is definitely more depth and less to go through here.

My small DIY label has a few tapes brewing. Of course, these are handmade. Because of this, I may limit my releases to my own work, with some exceptions, as I am often busy in life to meet demands of other people, as well as financially keeping myself above water. More to come on that front.
Satyr of Solitude My album "Tree of Contemplation" under the SoS project will have a limited CD release.
Just an update for some who were wondering. I look forward to more talk. My views on the scene have become more clear recently and I wish to preserve it with as best art output as I can, while carryign tradition but also trying to be somewhat unique.

Good to have you back in activity here. What was your main motivation for going with Sreng over Argonath, just a fresh start? Looking forward to your upcoming split with Nahadoth. Wasn't aware Satyr of Solitude was one of your projects, great couple of demos for that one.

I think I had kind of saturated Argonath a small bit to the point I wanted to change logo, name etc. Sreng suits the theme more I think. I felt I'd just start fresh rather than change things around. For the future Sreng live performance I think I could play a combination of all the songs though. The songs on the split were made over a year ago at this stage, we had some delay with a label so we are now self releasing. I think Nahadoth's side is fantastic. Glad to be active here again! SoS is mine I experimented with sounds and just ended up doing it over Argonath, I have a good few other projects but they were more experimenting to avoid Argonath. With college I have more reading for themes so I'm happy to be starting fresh. Thanks for your support.

Yes, I'd say it's been over a year. Then gathered dust. Finally releasing ourselves and just arranging artwork now. Definitely drawn out on my end, but I like what I made. It's kind of cleaner, but when I was composing a bit more on the cuff. Nahadoths side is amazing. I want it released just so people can hear that side really.

Just wanting to add while I haven't purchased yet, I 've streamed all of your stuff more than a couple of times and there is a lot of great gems in your Argonath releases!I hope you reconsider but at least you gonna be productive with your new project, either way nice to see you aboard!!
