I've just heard that there were actually an existing Dungeon Synth forum. So, here i am. I would like to introduce my music project which is called Gargoylium.
I started making music last year and have released some stuff in late 2017 and this year, Gargoylium is evolving in both traditionnal / old school dungeon synth and "modern" dungeon
stuff. The project is deeply rooted in the medieval era, and deals with themes as battles, knighthood, and evokes both light and darkness.
The music is inspired by many things, I have the chance to live in a place (France, Burgundy) with a phenomenal historical heritage, lot of castle ruins, medieval churches and chapels ... My love for old things and past times are my first sources of inspiration, as well as all the medieval fantasy / sword and sorcery books i've devoured in my life.
In a chronological order, i will present my different releases, with some explanations about them:

"Old Truth Through The Ruins". Gargoylium / Temps de Chien (Split, October 2017).
My first demo, which is a split with a friend of mine (Temps de Chien). It consists in 4 tracks of TDC and 3 of Gargoylium. The particularity of this
release is that we decided to include black metal tracks in it.

Here is my first full - length album, released in early 2018. His name says it all. It is like the journey of a Knight
taking part in different scenes in an ancient time of glory and epic battles, with both "grandiose" moments and intimate ones.
I had the chance to release it under the banner of Gondolin records which crafted the tape you can see in the photo.

"Mon Royaume" is different from the previous one. It was made following the old path, composed during
past winter and inspired by my walks in the forest. Two long tracks that have a particular meaning to me. It is of course, in some way an homage to Mortiis ...

vibe here. Each track is a tale about a story of my invention : Knighting Ceremony, Exploring a vast tomb were heroes were buried,
remembering the story of the glorious heraldry ...
