These tracks were made in about two days after receiving a Yamaha TG-33 I purchased for use on a movie score. I'd like to try something a bit less compositionally dense and more gritty if I make more. I'm interested in hearing what you think of them! heksetarn.bandcamp.com/album/the-wizen-woods-demo

Long notes ringing out met up by a airy voice of inviting melody. The happy beats sounds playful but sincere. When the marble and xylophonic sounding tunes starts telling their part the track becomes more heroic. I like this track and feel no need to criticize other than I would like the track to be longer. The Long Dark - Spooky X-files ambiance. The use of pitchbend works fine with the rave crowing. Then the jazzy pipe is just touching the outskirts of the melodies. The long dark felt much to short. You say this is a demo and it is a good one. Make a full-length and make the tracks longer. They do not need to be more epic as I hear it. Those jazzy blows maybe can take over somewhere. Soldier's Field - This was a very sad track and I felt that I would like to be close to my kids and wife. It makes me regret all those time when I have neglected their needs and attention. You made a very emotional track there. Thank you.

Tracks 1 and 3 sounded perfect to me as DS. Track 2 seemed to me closer to dark ambient than to DS. Nevertheless, it fits with the other two in some way. Excellent work. It would be great to get a whole album around these atmospheres and melodies.

I'm glad you like it! I would eventually like to make a full length, I think. Something I want to do differently in the future is experiment with a more lo-fi recording quality, this to me sounds a bit too clean.

These are great! I think a lo-fi effect would make this sound good as well, but I honestly think the clean sound works well with the mood of these tracks. I recently decided to make a couple of tracks myself after only listening for a good while; I've attached one of them in this. I would love constructive criticism if anyone is interested. My tracks are much less 'clean' and I tried to incorporate more of a video game + noise feel. soundcloud.com/reggae-rob/enter-the-underwater-dungeon
