What is "deezer" stormcrow ? Never heard of it and even kinda reluctant to click on links 1+3.. How does it work, any idea?
Now about link 2 I recognise the dude as the one that is the maniac-fan of Mortiis with whom he has picture, quote, anything I guess he could put a stamp on, and who regularly almost reaches spam territory in the Facebook DS page posting-reposting that album.. Otherwise he just seems like a regular next door guy who obviously thinks the world hasn't yet appreciated his music and tries to promote it as hard as he can to earn a living which is nothing to be ashamed of... Dunno really ... Just some random 2 cents..

Deezer is a music streaming platform, similar to Spotify. It's what I used to use before I stopped listening to normal music and only listened to DS! I still have a subscription and listen to the occasional album. Similar artist payout to Spotify (i.e. fuck all) but if you upload your music via something like Distrokid distrokid.com/ it will put it in Deezer, Spotify, iTunes etc. No support or promotion, but I guess it gives more people the chance to hear it. It's up to the artist whether or not they want to do it. I think all the Dieux Des Cimitieres are up on Deezer and most of the Dark Age Productions albums are too... but DS coverage is very patchy.
Going to check out Chevalier Errant now...
I really like that Machina Coeli album!

...why crystallogic13 are you reluctant to Deezer links? It's almost the same of Spotify, as BΓ₯vingr said, nothing dangerous at all. I have an account there, too, and I find it really good for listening offline (Bandcamp does not allows this). Anyway: the links I posted are just examples, since I think quite the same you think about Machina Coeli...it's also something really unkind taking advantage of Mortiis image just to promote his own music. But that's just my opinion, each artist is free to promote himself the way he wants. I prefer to let my music speak for itself Erang (which I really like, instead!) has a Deezer and Amazon distribution as well!

Ah ok then, I was reluctant since I've never heard of that one before, thanx for clearing it out, I'll check the site since we're at it ..
Indeed promotion is one thing but over-promotion (which thankfully rarely happens in DS usually) is another and probably gets the wrong attention and assumptions about one's people music.
I think now that the dust has settled and the year of outreach that it was 2017 has gone, things are coming along nicely in the community in terms of people involved : not too overcrowded but not tiny as people in the early days speak of...
And since I'm not sure already if I am on topic, personally as a fan I am updated/keeping up via this forum, the reddit page,FB,dedicated blogs etc., I'm not using streaming services at all but even if it's good for say one more to discover DS , well sure go and post your creations/music/art there!

I think all the Dieux Des Cimitieres are up on Deezer and most of the Dark Age Productions albums are too... but DS coverage is very patchy. Yeah, all of DDC's albums are on Spotify, Deezer, iTunes, Amazon Music etc.; most services that put your music on Spotify also cover these services at little or no extra cost. DistroKid, which I use, delivers there by default, covered by the $20/year basic plan. The way I see it, there's not much actual (monetary) gain in having my stuff on all of these platforms, but it doesn't hurt either. The reason I use them for DDC is that I want my music to be readily available to interested parties on as many platforms as possible. NichΓ© music as it is, I don't want it to be too hard to get your hands on. And yeah, none of those platforms really offer any promotion. If you happen to get on some popular playlist or featured in an editorial playlist, you might get a nice bump. By some odd twist of fate I got one song from Tears That Weep Autumn on one somewhat major "New releases" -list on Spotify, and it got me a big load of plays during two weeks. But it certainly didn't translate to many new fans, purchases via Bandcamp, visibility or a permanent increase in streams.
