I can only second Hawkwind. An absolutely great band.

A good opportunity to share one of my all-time favourite bands, Crow from Whitstable in Kent, UK. A great fusion of tribal space-rock, punky thrash and psychedelic prog. I first saw them in 1993 and quickly became an obsessive fan, and helped to promote them around the area. In recent years I helped to remaster their two albums which had previously only been released on tape. Enjoy: crowkent.bandcamp.com/

You should convince the band to release a complete discography CD or something similar, I'd but it for sure

All I can say is I only listened to them once and I was convinced of the quality of this band, contact some labels make it happen!

Here's a few more obscure UK bands for you, this scene was a bit of an obsession of mine for many years: Moondragon, fantastic crusty space/punk from Cornwall, very similar in feel to Crow. They later evolved into the folk/rock band 3 Daft Monkeys who are still going strong. youtu.be/92zAMHUldZMyoutu.be/3CB-zoxepfsPaperhouse. Another good space/psych band, not as punky as Crow or Moondragon. youtu.be/jZ2XuWD4y5QMind Octopus, spacey psych/funk from Ashford, Kent, and good friends of mine. Released a 3 song demo of hazy stoner psych, later recorded an album at Abbey Road that was never properly released. youtu.be/b-_Kdv2zLQ0youtu.be/1eyQ1fmFlxUSoma, from Sheerness, Kent. Great spacey prog, like a more spacey Yes or Genesis: youtu.be/inL6hFOACE4youtu.be/e9ikK_Xm8JsDoor Marked Summer, the band that evolved into Crow. Less spacey, but might be of interest: youtu.be/RibMzb7MOHkyoutu.be/d17lNCLZqYIIowaska. Fantastic music, again very similar to Crow with a thrashy punk take on space rock, but let down by the appallingly bad witchy/pagan lyrics: youtu.be/MlYIVKGpHlgLastly (and definitely least!), my first band Elemental. Lengthy instrumental space rock jams, trying too hard to sound like Crow and Ozrics. woodsmanmusic.bandcamp.com/album/elemental-rehearsal-demosIf you're unfamiliar with the UK festival psych scene of the 80s and 90s, here's a few more names to investigate: Mandragora, Omnia Opera, Dead Flowers, Sons of Selina, and of course the early Porcupine Tree stuff.
