I present to you my project Monumento. Traditional Dungeon Synth from Spain, with a bit more of martial percussion than what is usual. Fans of Ambient Burzum (prison and pre-prison), Neverlur, Örnatorpet and Desrealización will probably enjoy it. Inspired by local legends and weird dreams, the first monument: monumento.bandcamp.com/album/un-huerto-a-la-sombra-de-la-torre

Will listen asap. Some good stuff from sunny Spain recently!
OT:Yesterday I was talking with a colleague about travels in Spain and I found out about the "Fiesta" in El Rocio... immediately got myself amazed by that event! Definitely want to see it!

And yes, El Rocío is amazing! Btw, sorry for answering like 4 years later...

I listened to "Un huerto a la sombra de la torre" and "El fénix" both twice, and I think your music great! It has kind of a towering classical feeling. "Monumento" is a very fitting name, because it feels like a sort of solemn mysterious austere perpective of stone architectural monoliths, but not necessarily the peoples and circumstances that brought them into being. It's more like the highest aspirational ideals of a civilization, which never come close to being instantiated in reality except through artistic symbols, such as monuments. But even those both physically and intellectually always seem so fragile, like they could come crumbling down at any moment. A unique sense of place, very visual, and the album covers fit perfectly to suggest the kinds of mental imagery these songs can conjure. Excellent!

This is the best feedback I've got so far. I'm speechless, you truly understood my art, and I wouldn't change a single comma of what you wrote.

New EP, La mazmorra geométrica. monumento.bandcamp.com/album/la-mazmorra-geom-tricaIt contains a new Monumento track and three covers. This is the first Monumento release featuring vocals. The first idea for La mazmorra geométrica was born during the 2020 pandemic quarantine, and I've finished the track now in a similar situation (I cannot leave home for a couple of weeks due to an injury). This song and the choice of covers as well as the way they are recorded makes this a relatively dark and spooky album at times, so in a way it fits Halloween time.
