Hey all... I've been completely enamored with Hole Dweller's sound. The melodies are special to Hole Dweller's style, but what I was wondering if there was anything out there akin to Flies The Coop I & II in terms of fuzzy, synthetic lo-fi synth sounds. Something about the ultra low fidelity is so enchanting to me. It can be any theme at all... thanks so much in advance if you can think of anything. <3

I find something so peaceful and tranquil about Lunar Womb's "The Sleeping Green". Who would be good to dig into to get that sort of sound/vibe?

Hedge Wizard is awesome! And thank you so much for the Til Det Bergens Skyggene recommendation; I can already tell this is going to stay with me.

Hello everyone! Hope everybody is well.
I'd love some recommendations on Dungeon Synth similar to Burzum, Elador, Elffor, Erang, Fief, Galdur, Hole Dweller, Old Sorcery, Old Tower, Secret Stairways, Sephiroth, Sequestered Keep, Ulf Soderberg, Vindjkaldr & Windtower.
I know this is a large list but it's the artists I listened to most from my DS folder, so I'd love any help on any suggestions to any of them to expand my taste. Thanks!

Hello everyone! Hope everybody is well. I'd love some recommendations on Dungeon Synth similar to... Fief... If you haven’t checked out Umbría’s Sleeping Wizard yet, that made a big splash last year. Definitely has that same lilting, meandering quality that makes Fief stand out so strongly. umbriasynth.bandcamp.com/album/the-sleeping-wizard

I'm checking Umbia - The Sleeping Wizard now, thanks for the quick reply.
I'm liking it already, has that familiar Fief scent I'm used to.
Edit: So that was a treat in the same vein as Feif. Really enjoyed this. You know your stuff, thanks!

Just listened to that too, loved it as well. Thanks for sharing!
Stuff that sounds like Fief just sounds so instantly recognizable & nostalgic.
Just puts you into such a relaxed mood, hard to have a bad time listening to material like this.
I guess this is true of most DS, but on the contrary some DS has a darker, more unsettling medieval feel to them.
Whereas this is more like daytime pub drinking music because it's more upbeat & happy.

Thanks for the suggestion, from the Tull-esque piping to the wispy vocals, this is hitting all my sweet spots.

I'm looking for more like Aindulmedir, Crag Forge, Fogweaver, Fog Castle, Realms in Exile, Snowspire...
Anything verging on ambient but with lots of interesting stuff going on. This stuff is great for reading and working.

Or maybe try some Berlin-School?

Hi to all.
Please, recommend me some very old-school DS similar to something like Old Sorcery with its Berlin school/Jim Kirkwood vibes.
Thanks in advance.
