This is my first EP ever. Any feedback would be awsome!
The EP contains 4 songs and has a total playtime of 21min. I know that my music isn't top notch, but I want to contribute something to this great community and hope a few people will enjoy this at least a bit.
I tried to cover some lesser known parts of nordic mythology and folklore with my music.
P.S.: If you like my music feel free to share it. I've released it under the terms of CC-BY 3.0, what is the most libre license that bandcamp does allow.

I enjoyed the ep. Very lo-fi and minimalistic but atmospheric. However, I didn't really feel the connection to Nordic mythology that way. At least not in the first two pieces, these had a more Horroesque atmosphere for me. In the course of the ep, however, I had more and more landscapes in my mind. I enjoyed the atmosphere.

Thank you a lot for your kind and helpful feedback. I'm happy you enjoyed the lo-fi.ness. The ep is completely produced digital, but I did my very best to make it sound like an analogue early 90's garage production, because I love this aesthetics. The gloomyness of the first two tracks is mostly because of the places they are about. Svartalfheim is the subterrainian home of dwarfes and dark elfes, where they craft powerful and magic items. The realm of RΓ‘n on the other hand is on the ground of the sea. All drowned go there.
I'm happy to hear, that you imagined landscapes a lot. I had also landscapes in mind when I made this songs.
P.S. I'm listening to your first release right now and will leave you some feedback later.

I was pleasently surprised by the otherwordly atmosphere that I found in this EP. An original approach to the Nordic mythology. Really enjoyable.

Just a little update...
A few days after the release I listened to my work again and was a bit disappointed about my mastering. Maybe I have overdone the analogue effect a little, so the EP sounded just too silent and dull to me. Because of this I've mastered it again and made the sound a bit louder and cleaner. (It still tries to sound like a tape recording) Please let me know what you are thinking about this changes.
P.S.: Of course I don't want to throw away the original version. I want to make it available again, but I'm not sure how. As bonus for people who download the album or as seperate upload elsewere? What would you guys prefere?

Some very interesting ideas explored here, the separation of the hymns and meditations is an inspired concept. I was really digging the major/minor blending in your second track. Also, genuinely appreciate the disclaimer. Too many hateful shitbags co-opting these themes and imagery.

Thank you for the quick response! I'm happy that you seem to like my work.
I tried to let my music sound a little off and detuned, but in a way thats still enjoyable. To drop a disclaimer was important to me. I don't want any neo-nazis to misuse Norse Mythology as fluff for their inhuman ideology. Nor want I this kind of people to listen to my music.
