Disclaimer : All credits go to the original poster of the link on the Dungeon Synth FB page, as well as the guy from Dungeons Deep Records who followed the lead (read more bellow) : Uh-oh... It seems that we have another incident like the previous one ( dungeonsynth.proboards.com/thread/803/middle-ages-unveiled ), this time though it gets even worse as the ape responsible managed to even make a deal with DDR and create a 500$ hole in DDR's pocket for the cassettes made but thankfully not released just in time.. Here's in short two images with the main facts up till now : There's not much to comment really besides the constant disappointment about how fucked up people are... Unfortunately idiots/bad apples always were around from the start.. :/

Unfortunately there's always someone who'd like to make this kind of jokes. Interestingly, a couple of guys behind the Wolfpack black/death metal zine made a similar provocation, but much more obvious: they 'recorded' a demo which was a mix of "The Return..." and "Under the Sign of Black Mark". As far as I remember, the young label guy was over the moon with the material, and even shared it quite a lot, even with people wearing Bathory t-shirts, and it took like a month to discover the joke. But that was an obvious joke, they even wrote an article on that themselves. Another rip-off story I know was, unfortunately, much more serious.

Very lame. I was bummed to see the news. I was just listening to the album a few days ago.

I find this all really weird and shocking. I know I've seen people joke about how: "dungeon synth all sounds the same" but that someone could nearly get away with this and burn a $500 hole in a label's pocket scares me a little. What if no one noticed till the cassettes were being sold?
