Hey everyone. Wondering if anyone's tried Never Mind the Billhooks yet? It looks really interesting and it's newly released. I've been reading through the rules a lot these past few days and aside from a few unclear rules it all seems really solid. The idea of using cards to decide which units/commanders can do things interests me and I really like that leaders are actually important for giving your army orders and aren't just murder-hobos who wander around the board killing things till they inevitably collapse from sustained arrow fire or a catapult shot.
I really want to give it a try but I don't have an miniatures on me at the moment, although I'm thinking of getting some Men-At-Arms from Perry Miniatures and building myself a little force to represent Richard III at the Battle of Bosworth.
For anyone interested, Wargames Illustrated are giving it away free with the September 2020 edition of their magazine (at least they are in the UK) and I'm sure there's other places you can get a PDF online.
