I have released my first dungeon synth album and i couldn't be more proud of it! The album tells the story of a foolish adventurer who hears word of a forbidden treasure, and despite warnings against pursuing it, he does so anyways. The music tells the story of his journey, starting with an upbeat tavern theme where he hears the news and progressively gets darker, as his journey does so, eventually culminating with a medieval folk ballad featuring a choir of extra dimensional observers (the vocals of which were performed by my wonderful friends Grace and Julia) chronicalizing his tale while mocking his foolishness. The album is quite diverse, with the first couple songs being more "medieval ambient", with the second two being more traditional "dungeonsynth", darker and using more experimental synth sounds and the final track being a medieval folk ballad almost! Hope there is something for everyone to enjoy in there! The album is on bandcamp, spotify, apple music, youtube music and hopefully whichever platform you prefer! Doesn't overstay it's welcome at all. A good amount of variety, each of the tracks has it's own identity and the melodies are really pretty throughout. Especially like the closing track, 'Ashes'. Vocals are a nice touch on it.
