Very refreshing take, really like your treatment of the percussion. The last two tracks have a very similar mood that I’m really vibing with.

Hey guys, really appreciate the feedback, and thank you for taking the time to listen to my music, it means a lot! Uplifting in stressful times! I am working on a full album, so this has really helped me to think about the different sounds/instruments I'm using. Cheers and take care!

I want more for sure! definitely breaks the DS mold (I’m surprised there isn’t more controversy lol) but it belongs along side any live-instrumental DS I’ve ever heard and I wish we saw more of it. I picked up the old pennywhistle for the first time since I was 8 after hearing this (no luck)

I really like it. Has a nice "acid trip" feel, which can work great for incorporating more mystical elements into a seemingly "townsfolk" setting!

I picked up the old pennywhistle for the first time since I was 8 after hearing this (no luck) Thank you for listening, and I'm glad it inspired you to pick up an old instrument!haha Also I get what you mean about controversy! I'm mixing a few different sounds here. I was thinking about maybe splitting the sounds into two separate projects, so the more strictly synth based stuff is its own thing, while the more live flute-based sounds are part of a different project ... I'm not sure yet. I like the simplicity of old school DS, the sound, atmosphere, simple structure.. but I also like elaborate prog and folk music. Anyway, I'm sure the music will continue to decide for me. Would you recommend any live instrumental DS that you're a fan of?

I really appreciate what you say about it having an 'acid trip' feel - was definitely going for that, especially with 'procession of spirits.' Agree about the contrast with the 'townsfolk' sound - I'm currently working on that! Cheers!

Hello and welcome!
I really enjoy what you did there. The tempo of the percussion just feels right, in combination with the melodies and overall mood.
Feel like something new and refreshing, well done.
Edit: I totally zoned out during my second playthrough, which is a compliment. Good job!

And I get what you mean - it's great if you feel immersed in the music so you forget yourself, so to speak.
Thanks again for listening and commenting!

More people should be checking this out, for sure. This little EP is ridiculous and something completely fresh (to me) and I love it. I hope you have more in store down the line.

Not bad! I liked the presentation and mood of your release. The only remark is that in some moments I would have brought the flute a little more to the first plan.
