ive been a lurking ghost on these boards (yall seem really nice, just naturally nervous) but i really want to start participating more, especially by sharing my work:
just uploaded this record i finished recently TOMB OF DORPUS, about how time is so vast that even the most powerful figures in history will eventually be completely forgotten.
rough and wacky mspaint tabletop jazz. DOS dungeon crawler fun. very rough.
i've been hesitant to do this. i've released DS stuff online in the past just for fun and to share with friends but nothing serious. been writing and stowing-away ambient fantasy recordings for years but only just found the energy to start cataloging, finishing concepts and putting online. avid ttprg player and fantasy artist but only for my own kicks, not very public with this stuff. wrote a few of these to go with TT campaigns ive ran and RPGS ive written. love jazz and synthisis and DOS dungeoncrawlers. didnt know who to share this stuff with so im cautiously posting here for feedback. (huge imposter complex, self-promoting makes my skin crawl)
i use all analog equipment played live and recorded live so audio quality is spotty. not an analog snob, DAWS and mastering was just killing my flow and i try to keep it simple as possible. i make all my dumb art which is fun for me but also slows me down. that being said im just looking for raw honest feedback from other people who make and like dungeon synth, i dont know many people irl who really are that into it.
tldr: DS hermit who is finally releasing dungeonsynth wants to hear what you think.
please feel free to check out my other stuff and let me know what yall think
