Hello, What a wonderful forum! I imagine I will be spending much time here in the coming days and years! Following on from below threads, I would like to take the opportunity to say greetings, and thank you to everybody who has purchased and appreciated Faery Ring over the past year or so. If you haven't heard Faery Ring; it is english dungeon synth, dreamed up under grey skies and amongst the brambles. The music tells the story of an eternal war between Trolls and Fey for the kingdom of the Everforest. There have been two releases thus far, with more to come. I am working on a new release at present, and it will hopefully be released in the first half of 2017. I would also like to publish literature based in the Everforest, with maps and such, eventually. Aside from the music, I am very much into writing, reading, roleplaying/boardgames and LARPing, and look forward to discussing some of these things here Speak soon! (Any chance of a verification would be much appreciated

I have been talking about this project ever since I stumbled across it on Bandcamp. Welcome! In the general discussion we have RPG games going. Imagine it like a subbasement since I imagine we are all in the basement.

Just finished listening, this is very excellent. There's some powerful magic in here. I'll need to check out the other Faery Ring albums.

I heared about Faery Ring only after I joined this forum. Following this announcement, I took the time for listening to all its releases. Faery Ring instantly takes you to a foggy, troll infested forest, and creates intense magical atmospheres with musical notes and instrumentation. That is what I like to find in dungeon synth. Awesome music.

Just listened to the new release. Right off the bat, it is easy to tell this is another carefully crafted immersive listening experience. I don't know how to describe many of the synth tones used here except "trollish," but I love it.

I think "trollish" is a great way to describe it, actually. I think it's great when a release comes along that defies a lot of conventional definition.

I find it pretty trollish. The new album is great, I am going to read the story booklet tonight before going to bed.
