Post cool songs that aren't dungeon synth or metal.

Scandinavian Trad folk is one of my favorite winter-time activities, both in terms of listening and playing. Someday I'll have a nyckelharpa to play around with:

One of my absolute favorite music projects: ARDITI
Rarely do I hear music that sounds this powerful and strong.

I've been playing through Planescape: Torment again recently. Such a perfect game and such a beautiful soundtrack. Can't wait til I buy my new computer and I'm not stuck on my old laptop so I can play the spiritual successor that'll be coming out, Torment: Tides of Numenera.

I've always heard Arditi mentioned but never listened to much of them. That track is cool, very cold, serious, and atmospheric.
Planescape: Torment is interesting. I've always wanted to get into that game but for some reason I have a hard time getting immersed in those isometric rpgs. It's still on my bucket list. That track is very pretty.

A Dutch folk band, which plays on traditional instruments. I saw them live yesterday, and I couldn't resist to buy their newest album.

That track is very pretty. Planescape sucks you in pretty easily. It's still an isometric CRPG but it's really on it's own level entirely.

Current 93 is one of my favorite artists. Have been listening to this album more. It's a fairly strange one, coming off of their earlier industrial sound and moving into weird neofolk territory, but still not entirely until they recorded Swastikas for Noddy. Industrial drums, extreme repetition, weird bass riffs, and a great tape loop at the end. Full album here: current931.bandcamp.com/album/christ-and-the-pale-queens
