Thank you for listening, and I appreciate the feedback! The one long track thing is actually one of the things I definitely hemmed and hawed over until I eventually decided to just put it up. I thought it would add to the hazy, dreamlike atmosphere, but I think it might’ve taken away from it. And yeah, a couple things got lost in the mix but I definitely took it all as a learning experience! I learned some things that I.ll be putting to use going forward.
Also, I’m sadly not Greek :/ I just saw the name on an old Vangelis record and thought it sounded cool!
Thanks again for listening!

Pleasure mate! I also think split songs would help possible listeners to play something random easier, rather than one daunting long track, but again of course there is always pros and cons and I am sure some people will prefer the final one track approach, be sure of it Anyway hope you release a lot more down the way! Vangelis, huge, respect, Blade Runner soundtrack is a favourite !!

This is a damn good album. This is why I'm still excited about this whole thing, cuz I never would have thought to do a record like this. Might be even better if the dungeon part made a return but still it's something to think about, the whole idea of going back and forth from ds to noise. Cool that it shifts a little too, I thought it would be straight hnw. I wonder if this guy has heard our shit, he might have an interesting perspective.

So..... I posted in this thread awhile ago talking about how I was making some Dungeon noise. Well, my project kind of took a...different... route. Ended up I got kind of into dark ambient stuff and went more in that direction. I’d love it if you guys listened to my stuff and let me know your thoughts! www.monad217.bandcamp.comNot a bad start dude, I think you could take it to the next level without too much trouble, you know let it mature a little bit. It's minimal but in my opinion I don't think it's all the way over on the ambient side of things, you're not out of the ballpark calling it a dungeon noise album or whatever.

Well shoot, thanks Ranseur! That means a lot coming from you! I definitely had a moment of “Darn, is this even Dungeon Noise?”, so I’m glad to get some validation haha. I definitely learned a lot doing this recording that I’ll put to use on my next project. (I’ve also picked up some more “toys” to use along the way). Thanks for listening!

Now I want to know what you think about this: erdig.bandcamp.com/album/habakuk. I still tagged it Dungeon Noise because that was what I was doing but the versions I did release in the end had very few noise elements. How much noise is needed for it to be considered Dungeon Noise? I am not at all sure everybody thinks the way I do about it. There is not much elements left of Dungeon, Noise or Synth here. Not by theme or by sound but in "spirit" I still am proud to be claiming this Dungeon Synth and Dungeon Noise but I would be happy to know what you think?

Still some gritty weirdness there, really good release. Even my last couple ranseur albums I had toned down the noise so I don't see it like it has to be super extreme to be called dungeon noise.

So if there is noise elements and dungeon synth elements then we call it dungeon noise.
I am thinking about calling my power elektronics palls for some colabiration. I will reportback how that goes.

Thank you! I never thought of the word “craggy” in terms of music before and I like it!

Holy Cow! This is really good! The first track is almost doom-y, and the hiss and atmospherics are right on the nose. Well done.
