That is what someone suggested like a battle but to be honest, I think this comp is a great idea and it will move along within this forum. If you guys, girls, or anyone else needs anything for the forum, I have the big ring of administration keys and I can open doors now.

Thanks for the support so far, guys! Any thoughts as to any central/unifying themes? One idea I had was to center it around this image/idea of a coven of like warlocks or druids in a dark, dank dungeon lair. I love this idea! Though I have only been at this site a few days now, this place does seem to be very much like a coven itself. So this theme would be a great parallel. I'd also love to submit a track for consideration in this compilation. Though I only have unreleased pieces I am still not happy with, this may be the final motivation I need to put work out there. |

Cloak and Dagger is a an awesome phrase for a secrect meeting series yet it is also the name of a DS artist. Scrolls & Secrecy has a clandestine ring to it plus it plays on the name Sword and Sorcery. I think having a flowery name to the series would be more enticing than DS Forum Compilation Volume !.

Yep, whatever is decided would be in volumes and of course perhaps with the roman numerals as this idea seems to have longevity. So it could be Court of the Crypt I - V

I would love to be involved. And also would be interested in a cinematic route, even if there is one central theme. I think the cinematic aspect will come across with everyone's unique styles.

I have no idea how long it takes you to write a song but today is the 1st, Would a month be too presumptuous to make songs, get them uploaded on Bandcamp and make art? Today is the first so that would be 28 days (Damn February) I do graphic design as a hobby and can do layout / design for this.

I have no idea how long it takes you to write a song but today is the 1st, Would a month be too presumptuous to make songs, get them uploaded on Bandcamp and make art? Cool idea, especially because it would be evolving around warlocks and/or druids. It makes me wish that I had tried making dungeonsynthy music before.
Perhaps you could craft a small story with the music. Every song is a chapter or something.

Since i am an admin and am discussing, Ill take lead on this since it sounds exciting. Ill put up an official announcement wit my emqail as a place to end it. Ill also make a bandcamp page for said compilation. I havent done Bandcamp in awhile, They take their formats in WAV right? It would probally be easier to have individuals upload their stuff to the bandcamp page instead of emailing a WAV? |

Nah its fine. Give me your 30 minute 67kHz 128 BIT STEREO WAV files or the 64KB MP3 recorded from your Talkboy, Ill take them all.
