Me too! The drums on the second track work great for the mood in a way I'm honestly a bit surprised by.

I was really loving it until about six minutes in. Too repetitive and tedious for me after that. I respect the concept, but it's not for me.

I can't stop listening to "Goblin Music." Love the weird and twisted bluegrassiness of the second track, I can really imagine goblins sitting around a fire at dusk nodding and bobbing along as one of them plays a banjo and another beats on some drums. Excellent work with this!

Thanks for checking out the record you guys. The minimalism influence (I mean like terry riley) is high on this one, I know some will like that and some won't. I'm just glad a good amount of people are getting the concept without me having to explain it which is killer.

It's a shame when a sound or idea seems so natural to you but other people can't see or hear what you had in mind...but when you make art this good then some people will find it and it will resonate with them and that's what it's all about, in the end. Making a marvelous, weird journey you can share with others! Awesome album

Very interesting interview, and awesome music! I like the simple but catchy melodies, the old school sound, the general mood. I've just bought the albums on bandcamp! You might check the music from my friend Maelifell (also on bandcamp, especially Demo 1996 -- yes, we're OLD ---, but everything is great), you might enjoy it as well.

In case anyone is interested I posted two new albums to my other bandcamp where I have my other solo projects. One is a way out percussion project that I was doing live a lot for a while, an attempt to capture the sound and rhythm of these hand based ritualized movements I've been afflicted with since childhood. Definitely the weirdest music I've done. The other is a jazz piano album that takes the rhythmic elements I've been messing with on the last few ranseur albums in a different direction, been working on that one all year. Planning something big for the next ranseur album and it may have elements of these two blended in. Justin A Mank bandcamp
