Yes sir! Reporting for duty! Also, I agree, as well, with Chaucerian Myth's idea that the reviews be more descriptive in nature of how the album sounds.

I'd love to participate! Also, I think it would be best if reviews were not critical, but descriptive in nature. What you may find bad could be something that someone else loves, so what does it serve to write a bad review? You don't have to force praise, but I feel like going in to detail about what the album is/sounds like would be much more productive for this particular idea. After all, we don't want to discourage someone who might actually like an album from listening to it just because it's not something we enjoy. I definitely don't think we should set out to be critical, I agree it'll probably be best to focus on objective description, but I think we should be allowed to say whether we liked or disliked the album and why, if we choose to.

I'm curious how the particular album of each artist will be chosen. Will it just be the most recent release, or any random one from the artist's catalogue? My two oldest albums aren't fully DS so I'd rather not have them being up for review.

Btw, and this is just another idea, but how bout we end our reviews with our favorite track (like on BC) and why it's our favorite.

I think it would be best to do the most recent album.

I'm curious how the particular album of each artist will be chosen. Will it just be the most recent release, or any random one from the artist's catalogue? My two oldest albums aren't fully DS so I'd rather not have them being up for review. I first thought that the srtist would choose the album. Then I thought most recent. Now i think it is up to the reviewer. If it was up to the reviewer to choose he could then listen to all albums and focus on the one. Think about Crypt of the wizard. It is a great record to review by it self but it is even more interesting if you also eould compare it to Ă…nden... and stargate or wheel or whatsitcalled. So I think it best if the reviewer decide. But then I do not keep this opinion strongly. To end the reviews by Enbeding favorite track is sounds like a good idea so that all posts willbe different otherwise.

I thought it was going to be the most recent. However, I think it should be up to the artist, and then the reviewer is free to compare or take other releases into account or something. Just my thoughts
