www.youtube.com/watch?v=eKguSG6XAG8I really like this one, it has both black metal vocals and some clean spoken vocals that sounds like a young teenage boy, which might not be for everybody but I love every bit of this album, it feels so genuin and raw.

I'm pretty sure he was in his late teens when he made this, I'd guess 16-19. I love the DIY feel of the BN tapes, timing mistakes, crude keyboards, odd flute playing, weird vocals, all makes for a good package.

I was checking this out today. So here is a question... This tape is out on White Wolf Productions (the guy from Abhor) from Italy. The releases seem OK to me, but they have been putting out T-Shirts for explicitly NSBM bands (Veles etc.). Anyone know what the deal is? It's not an NSBM label is it? I can't find much of any info on Kulttimaa so won't be able to really tell from that. I feel the label seems a little dodgy, but hopefully the artist isn't. Anyway, I guess to stay on topic.. I enjoyed this one!

Woops, didn't mean to be a thread killer. :-P
Anyone have some notable recent DS releases with BM vocals to share?

Stronghold Guardian probably has the best BM-vocals in DS so far this year:
I'm all for reviving old threads, too!

Hello, all! Recently, I have really been enjoying Dungeon Synth that employs Black Metal vocals - preferably, with no other black metal influence (no guitars or anything like that). What do you guys think of the use of Black Metal-style vocals in Dungeon Synth? What feelings do these vocals evoke for you? Do they add to the experience? Do they detract? Personally, I find they add a whole other depth and aesthetic to the music - not necessarily worse or better, but different. Also, I'm always looking for more stuff like this, so post your examples that you know of please! I'll post some of my favorites as well. I completely missed the Erevos one! Very good, indeed! It seems to be also a real bass guitar playing here, does it?

I wonder if that's the same guy than in FORNDRAUGOST. Because both come from Senones, which is really a small mountain village in France, and I doubt there are TWO guys making Dungeon Synth there. Or maybe his older / younger brother, haha.

Black wailing is legendary, bizarre and brilliant.
