I'm getting more "where's my project?" comments and messages now so I kind of want to delete these since they're being taken as exhaustive/wholly representational depictions of certain sounds within DS. I don't know, maybe these make finding projects you haven't heard of less fun. There are certainly a lot of artists I haven't included, though. You shouldn't be concerned with that! Lots of people have probably already discovered through them things that they've missed and that's what counts.. Besides, everyone has his own way of discovering music and this genre in particular so individual exploration is required anyway for the adventurous types

No I think you should'nt delete it: you did it the way you felt it and this is the best way to do things. I too wanted to see more of my albums here and there and that's a normal reaction from musicians I guess but don't be bothered by those comments: you made something great, useful & interesting, that's the most important!

I think these are a great way to find new stuff, they leave a lot of room still for exploration.

I find these charts very helpful and certainly hope you don't delete them. I am as previously stated honored to make the charts, but finding my own albums isn't all that helpful trying to gain inspiration or expand my music library. Too bad people seem to disagree with me on this.

And I saved the images to my personal archives for getting them at any moment. I repeat, they are a useful guide.

What do you think about making charts of thematic DS? For example, Tolkien or Dragonlance themed DS?

And existing charts are really wonderful. My favorites are Epic and Old School, though I have already listened to the most of projects there.

Added a Neoclassical & Romantic chart. Before people ask why I didn't put Dim, Fief, someone else, I didn't include music that was very classically medieval sounding. Those are in the Idyllic chart. More NC&R that isn't canonically DS: Nachtgeblut - NSBM artist but the second CD of this double album is all synthesized organ, piano, and string compositions. Incredible album. Lebenessenz - Minimalist lo-fi romantic piano, a lot like Synth Bard's Barovian Sketches album. Highly recommended. Die Verbannten Kinder Evas - Neoclassical darkwave project from Summoning

Ah. This is very satisfying. This makes it much easier for a person who listens to music based on mood, facet, or season.

Added an 'Avant-Garde Outsider' chart for the all the weirdo Hekaloth-esque stuff and some other bizarre things. Similar to the 'levels of insanity' chart but still different enough I think.

Could someone link the album at the bottom-center of this chart? I'm having trouble finding it.
