I just looked at the rulebook for XP levels... it takes 2000 just to get to level 2! holy fuck! i only have 78 so far....
we need to find a treasure hoard asap!

yeah that is the thing about OSR, finding treasure is more worth it than fighting monsters. You find a treasure woth 1000 GP you are halfway there. Also in terms of town errands. If you want to do multiple things (talk to this person, buy this, hire this, go ask about this) just list em all and ill resolve them for each person. Although town can certainly be a fun place for adventure, this town at this moment is for resources and information so no sinister plots are going unfold at the tavern or the church.

So on Gambling This is something that isn't in S&W but I had in my past games and I find it funny. Ypris is square with everyone he bet his own money and lost his money. If you have no money and want to gamble, you can use the house money and walk away wth free money if you win or be indebted to the gambling house if you lose. If you want to gamble on credit next time your in town just say 5 GP Credit and gamble. We will go with this and see if it gets broken. Fun things could happen isf debt collectors turn into wandering monsters in dungeons who have come to collect money if you become a dead beat. You pay back the gambling debt with treasure won (automatic) and perhaps encounter nightly collectors if you do not which can lead to death.  |

Haha, I'm very sorry guys. I was a bit drunk and I skimmed over what was going on too quickly and thought they were already aware of us. I thought of editing my post and saying "Nevermind," but that doesn't seem appropriate since if that were allowed one could do that whenever they get a low roll. I feel like Pippin in Moria  |

I appreciate the honesty in a play by post game. Also I always tell my players that failure and flubs and mishaps are part of the fun. Plus the idea of spending time drunk making your move in an online OSR game is too funny.

Yeah that was the most forgiving in terms of a trapped room. I check the room. You find 5 orcs waiting for visitors.
