Jurlis Ek agrees that on second thought south seems more sensible, and follows closely behind.

Calahas, Nadre the Black, Dockzer, Ypres Zo, Jurlis Ek, and the rest of the group move down the southern hallway towards the darkness with Jurlis Ek's torch crackling in the inky blackness. The ceilings hang low with rot and mildew choking the air as you move closer. Calahas moves cautiously checking for traps on the floor and finds none. From the door ahead comes a faint humming sound; it becomes more of a buzzing when you get closer. The door is distorted by age and humidity, and hangs partly open.
With baited breathe, Calahas pours a flask of oil into his bullseye lamp. The now empty glass jar tinkles softly as he puts it in his bag with the four other full flasks. The inconsequential sound reverberates through the still air. Calahas winces as the rest of his group scowl at the unwelcomed noise. Calahas sends a radiating beam down the west corridor ending abruptly at a hewn stone wall. The group is made more aware of the buzzing which is emanating behind this warped door. There is death which moves towards you.

Calahas, aware now of the buzzing noise, quickly extinguishes his lantern and backsteps back down the hallway (to the north, away from the noise), drawing his bow, nocking an arrow and pulling back the string, aiming at the now inky blackness. He whispers, "Something's coming, ready yourselves."
------------------------- ACTIONS
Calahas extinguishes his lantern and moves back to a more defensible position, bow drawn and an arrow at the ready. He lets the more physically capable among the party take point, attempting to blend into the shadows at the edge of the torchlight.

Jurlis Ek slowly approaches the doorway and peers through, making a sneak attempt.

Calahas and Jurlis Ek eye each and silently make plans for investigation. Calahas extinguishes his lantern (22 more turns) and draws his bow defensively. Jurlis Ek sneakily approaches the door and looks in past the warped wood. Giant bees! You've heard of them, but they are larger than you expected... and they are moving toward you menacingly...

Ypres Zo begins to mutter incoherently under his breath, goggle-eyed with fear. He attempts to stay behind Dockzer, and looks for an opportunity to shoot his crossbow. If he can get a clean shot at one of the bees not in melee with his comrades, he will take the shot.
ATTACK AzUK_boK1-20
DAMAGE 1-6
If he cannot get a clean shot, he will bide his time and provide dubious support for his more meritorious companions. Ypres Zo is also carrying a torch, by the way. I believe it has 4 rounds of light remaining, or perhaps 3. He lit it at the very beginning.

Calahas swears under his breath and glances behind himself up the hallway to make sure that nothing is sneaking up behind the party, and then lets loose an arrow at a bee currently not otherwise engaged in melee combat so as to not strike a companion. "Oh, not the bees!"

Out of the warped door one giant bee passes the threshold. It looks bigger than you originally thought, almost the size of a full grown man. It flies towards you with four others behind. Jurlis Ek swings with no avail followed by Dockzer who only grazes the giant wing which is filling the small corner with seething noise. Ypres Zod dropping his torch on the ground casts the whole room in shadows which adds to the confusion. Ypres Zod's arrow hit one of the stones above the door and makes a sad thud. Calahas lets loose an arrow at the Bees still floating out of the warped door. An arrow sticks into the door agitating further the nest of bees. The giant bee descends on Jurlis Ek with its stinger pointed towards his chest.
Attack: wPN_sj4Y1-20
Damage: 1d4-1
The stinger plunges deep inside Jurlis Ek's shoulder and fills him with the sight of Death incarnate as a giant insect. His head swirls as he reaches the brink of death and then bounds back to the land of the living. Dockzer sees the bee attack his companion but also heard the terrible noise of 4 more coming through the door.

Ypres Zo, sweating, fumbles for a bolt and reloads his crossbow, desperately firing again (assuming he can get a clear shot). If he cannot get a clear shot, he will cower.

After seeing Jurlis Ek being ferociously attacked, Dockzer jumps between the giant bee and Jurlis, protecting him from any deadly hit, and uses all his strength cut the bee in a half with his mighty sword.

((Some pretty sad attack rolls so far.))
Jurlis Ek tries to stumble away from the fray, with a face full of shock, mumbling incoherently to himself, something about being a stupid gambler, trying to hold the wound on his shoulder and keep his blood from spilling out. If he can he'll try to re-position himself to the very back of the group. I'd like for him to do a knowledge check about whether he'll be poisoned by this wound. If there's a risk of being poisoned, he'll try to remove the stinger, if not he'll leave it in for now to hopefully prevent blood loss.
Edit: also, if these are passive actions and I'm still able to do a full action (cast a spell), and if I can cast Sleep from a distance, I'll cast it on the bee that stung me.

Calahas swears under his breath and realigns himself for another shot at the bee, ready to turn tail and run at any moment. "I refuse to die like this, and so should you all!" He looses another arrow.
ROLLS Attack: slvvXnXr1d20
Damage: 1d6
EDIT: Calahas has had enough. "Fall back! Whatever gods there are do not favor us." He begins backing away quickly.
