Fortress of Ice only has one post on the forum so take that for what you will. I'd feel bad omitting it personally, despite their inactivity

And becasue I love writing. hollywoodmetal.com/2017/03/20/ds-compilation-i-keepers-of-the-shadow-realm/But seriously guys and girls, all of this stuff is fantastic especially for a compilation that was put together in a little over a month. Next step: Make the hour long seamless track. Get it on Dungeon Synth Archives. Put out Volume 2 and 3 from the rest of the material. Plan for the next chapter in this musical story which ill call for now The Gathering. Perhaps one every turn of the season with the next being in Summer?

Summer sounds like Medieval tournament season to me. Maybe the characters take on various roles in a Ivanhoe style tournament scene?

Just listening to it, 1st listen, the atmosphere is as it should, good work anyone!! I hope it brings more ppl to the genre .. I will edit or repost later as a fan with 2-3 favourites but the atmosphere thus far again is rock solid.. Thanx to all involved.. Keep it true and bring some more!

I will edit or repost later as a fan with 2-3 favourites but the atmosphere thus far again is rock solid.. Thanx to all involved.. Keep it true and bring some more! Ok I will be honest .. Sorry in advance to the artist but : the whole compilation was ruined for me when I got to Einhorn. I don't like noise at all as a genre, and unfortunately Einhorn is first and foremost noise. If you can;t stand noise, this is VERY unrelated to DS.. I;m all for music experimentation, I listen also to various genres but my complaint is that this was supposed to be a Dungeon Synth compilation.. And that certain track and the genre it is in is too foreing for DS, especially for one that is aiming a little bit of "outreach" and to (maybe?) introduce even some people to the genre.. It would also be exactly the same if for example a rock song with some light relations to DS.. Also, even if a Black Metal song in the veins of Summoning which IS VERY RELATED to the Dungeon Synth and I would ENJOY it, then again, while I would enjoy it personally probably, it would AGAIN feel out of context with the rest of the songs... I am sorry to post a bitchy post, the atmoshpere in the forum is great, but I hope it is taken in consideration. Also if this has already been discussed and I missed it, sorry, point me there if you please! Sorry comrades, or brothers and sisters or even better, fellow adventurers but I kind had to say it. p.s. No disrespect to the artist, I dont listen to noise at all, but it is a valid of course genre even as musical art, and I hope he prospers
