While Nardre inspects the coins, Ypres will continue leading his dogs down the corridor, and check the remaining cells. He wants to be certain there are no lurking monsters or ghosts, before he turns his thoughts to treasure.

Nadre cautiously approaches the cell, looking for any trouble an notices that around the bag is yellow mold that looks poisonous to the touch. Nadre gasps and holds his hand up to his mouth to try and save from breathing in the foul fungus. Yrpes walks down the hallway and over the blown out door lying in the middle of the hall. Ypress can hear a faint hissing sound coming from the southmost room.

Hmm. Ypres will wait for the rest of the group, and will indicate that we should gather up before proceeding, as there may be danger ahead. Hopefully Nardre is not harmed.

Nadre checks his person and no mold is on him.

How are the dogs reacting to this hissing noise? Do they seem alarmed?

The dogs are cautiously growing at the end of the hallway as if they sense danger or something dangerous that they would recognize.

Nadre leaves the gold where it is not knowing what to do about the mold. He joins up with the rest of the group and suggests investigating the sound.

The active group walks down the line of cells over the door that seems to be blown out. The hissing sounds gets louder as you step into the grim room at the end of the hall. This room is furnished with torture implements, including a rack, a brazier, and an iron maiden. Manacles hang from the far walls, while the nearer walls are festooned with hand-held torture devices like whips, flails, branding irons, knives, and pincers. All the metal implements are rusty, and the wooden items such as the rack appear rickety. as the group steps into the rtoom the hissing turns into a slithering and in the gloom you see shadows move as two spitting cobras slither out. You have entered the snakes nest!

Perhaps Jurlis Ek can use his Ring of Animal Control on these beasts? If not, Ypres Zo will fire his crossbow and unleash the hounds.

Jurlis quiets the dogs with his ring, and makes a mental note to stop daydreaming and pay more attention in such a dangerous place.

Ypres Zo notices his dogs becoming sedated and realizes there's been a mistake. "No, No, Jurlis!" Cries Ypres Zo, "Control the snakes, not my dogs! The dogs are fine, we want them to be angry! Control the snakes!"

[haha, sorry] Jurlis tries to quickly reverse his ring's power, relaxing the snakes and riling up the dogs.

The snakes slither and hiss their way towards the intruders. Jurlis wakes up from his daydream and quiets the dogs with his ring while Ypres snarls to control the snakes not the dogs. Jurlis is confused in the darkness and extends the broken ass ring that never should have been found in this dungeon to the snakes and the animals soon slither back into the cracks and crevices of the torture room. The group exhales a collective breath of relief as their magic ass broken ring saves them again. The group looks around at the torture room and finds various instruments of carnage but nothing of any value as everything is rusted beyond repair.

Have we fully inspected all the cells for treasure or clues? If not, we should check those. Otherwise, I think we can declare this area "cleared" and head to the doorway/opening that branches off the hallway to the North
