I love this track and think it fits perfectly where it is it - it kind of splits the album and breaks it up a bit ,I think the album overall would suffer in its absence-be a bit too 'monotonous' perhaps. Personally i don't think it sounds out of place at all and I don't think it is that 'extreme' still has a real ds vibe to me

I like this idea, but it might be hard to guarantee a fair share of both. Or potentially, having a comp set up like that could allow people to experiment some. I kind of want to orchestrate some sort of dungeon noise compilation/publication/label/cult, maybe have some more traditional DS artists give it a dabble. I'm quite tempted to write up some sort of explanatory handbook I'd be willing to give a crack at this. I have done some noise work separately from DS. Shouldn't be too much of a step to combine the two. filthcloak.bandcamp.com/album/rm-help

It seems like this argument as run its course, but I want to say that, I don't particularly like when the noise is too harsh, and yet, I find your Einhorn track to have the perfect amount of noise, and to actually be quite accessible when compared to your other stuff. Doing something different is always risky and prone to criticism, but it requires balls to do it, which makes me respect you even more. Keep on doing your thing and always strive to be unique and not a clone of others.

And also, since I didn't have the opportunity to say anything when this was released because I was too busy and couldn't come here for 2 solid weeks or something, I'm really happy to have been in this compilation with everybody and the end result is excellent. I look forward to participate in future installments.

Sounds like an interesting concept doing it in seasons. Would then the winter one be harsh and noisy while the summer one light and melodic?

I'd be into doing one for the summer, I was going to do something for the first one but I got busy with too much stuff.

So instead of doing new threads, I might as well consolidate stuff into here. With all that being said, here is the third volume of the DS RPG "The Keepers." Really cool stuff this time around. I love the Snarling Clearing track as a closer and Digre always provides great contrast where it is is placed. there will be one more round in the winter and I have decided that to b e the final chapter in this iteration. I think the submissions for this series have been great but I do not think it can continue with the excitement if it was ongoing seasonally. My plan is to end the DS Comp series and perhaps focus on Physical releases for willing participants or perhaps one or two "greatest hits" from the series. Whatever it is, Im glad to have spent this year listening to wild music.

I've just listened to this "final" compilation. A great closure, a trip to many aspects of the genre, every track taking the listener by surprise. These three Forum compilations were the only compilations I participated ever. Having shared the tracklist with so many talented and daring musicians was a unique experience. Thanks to everyone and especially to the compiler, Kaptain Carbon.

Oops, I misunderstood your comment. Anyway, my words about these compilations, musicians and compiler remain unchanged. And I'll stay alert for the next compilation call. Thanks for your work.
