Ned happily takes his 3 free ales and drains them in 3 large gulps. "Fellows! It seems these humans are incapable of doing anything to better their own lives. But they have been hospitable to us, so Dwarf custom dictates that we must now rectify all their personal problems. Let's start by going across the street and smashing up the Keen Goblin and everything inside. What say you?"
Ned then turns to the assorted gin-blossoms and booze-hounds lounging about the tavern. "Attention, besotted derelicts! We are three noble companions and we seek footlings and minions. Who would like to go with us to rough up the owner and patrons of the Keen Goblin, who threaten the existence of your beloved Rusty Golem?" ((Ned has only 8 charisma so his social mannerisms are not the best, but he can have up to 3 followers))

Ned looks around with ale dripping from his chin spies three interested adventurers. He realizes he has 11gp in his purse.
"Ay" one of them says, we be adventurers like yourself and will do it for 3 gold each per day...plus food and lodging each morning. That would be..." He pauses doing excruciating math in his head "9 gold right now and then in the morning and a round of ales tonight so that would be 10 gold. My name is Mug, this is my brother Bug and our baby brother Thaddeus."

The wizard closes his eyes waiting for more damage but is delighted to see the morningstar only knick him. He lets loose an incantation that fills the whole room with eerie green light. Suddenly a ray of magic shoots from his hand!
Nedzur being a halfing receives a +4 against magic spells and has a 14 for saving throw.

But not even his halfing god can get him out of this bind! The magic blasts him in his chest for D6 of damage.

Ky, shocked by the sudden death, rapidly picks up the key and the potion of invisibility, and immediately drinks the latter. Without thinking on its effects he then runs to the room where Er Nu, now a buffalo, is located, and hides himself there with dagger in hand.

Ned will happily hire 3 drunken sword-sots for 10 GP. He tells them to arm themselves. Then, he leads them upstairs to check out the commotion.

(((this is the end of Nedzur, but it does not have to be the end of you playing this game as you can drop in anytime or generator a character and say you are playing one of the NPCs like the three men at arms coming up the stairs))

Ned walks upstairs with his three newly hired Men at Arms (Mug, Bug & Thaddeus) all bruising looking ruffians (especially the one they call Thaddeus) Both Mug and Bug speak for Thaddeus and make a lot of noise going up the stairs. They act like brothers and do alot of rough housing even on the job. Ned reaches the top of the landing just in time to see a burned corpse fall into the hallway followed by a hideous laugh. The smell of death and magic fill the top part of the tavern. Ned controls his Masters of Arms and fights for them. They make attacks like normal and take damage if they are in area if something goes wrong. If they are put in extraordinary situations, you may have to make a loyalty check to see if they stick around.
Ky and Buffalo Er Nu stand hiding in the room...well Ky is sitting bleeding behind a buffalo and Er Nu is a Buffalo

Er Nu looks toward Ky, or at least to where he was when he drank the invisibility potion, but Er Nu doesn't bother trying to talk, fully aware of how pointless it would be having been in this predicament before. However he does try to tilt his head in a questioning way.
Edit: nvm, I see actually Ky drank the potion before entering the room, so I didn't notice him at all, right?

"Tread carefully, humans. Foul magic is at work here. Furthermore, I claim rights to the property of that burned corpse & any minerals that may be inside his body. Now let's go investigate."
Ned, backed up by his flunkies, goes forward and prods the body of the burned man.

((I way be old-fashioned, but I prefer to stick to one RPG at a time. It helps with character building. I will, however, continue watching this game, as it's freaking wild so far.))
((Edit: is there something blocking profanity?))
